“I am constantly inspired by nature, which provides me with the perfect place to contemplate and reflect. It is my responsibility to pay back the world and use the power of my storytelling to raise awareness about climate change, and uplift minority communities.”

Ama was born in Bangladesh and currently lives in the Bronx. She enjoys reading literature, creative writing, photography, graphic designing, and freelance blogging. Currently, Ama is the co-captain of her school’s Poetry and Creative Writing Club. In 2017, she created a literary blog that promotes new releases and features book reviews. She is excited to perform at Climate Speaks to use the power of her storytelling to raise awareness about climate change, and uplight minority communities.
