Brianna Tejeda
“Even though climate change won't go away, we have the ability to slow it down. I’m motivated to speak out because my future is on the line. But, if there is no future, how will I fulfill my goals? How will I be able to die knowing I did what I wanted to do?”
Brianna was born and raised in West Harlem, a neighborhood filled with children running, old men playing dominos, and a vibrant community of families. She is passionate about writing poetry and stories. Brianna loves how she can escape into her “own little world” and develop enticing stories and characters. Brianna is very excited to be performing at Climate Speaks, and she believes “Climate Speaks is a great way to have my voice heard and to change peoples’ minds about our future.”
