Felix Barman
“I'm motivated to speak out on climate change because I am part of the last generation that will be able to live childhood without weekly hurricanes and drowned cities. Because I am scrambling to salvage a world that people ruined, then "bestowing" the "mission" of fixing it, while the murderers remain in apathy.”
Born in NYC, Felix comes from an ancestry of immigrants. He enjoys playing classical guitar, drawing portraits, writing songs, and cooking. Day to day, Felix is inspired by learning and is extremely grateful for the education he has received thus far. He was excited to meet other passionate teens and push his boundaries in Climate Speaks. Felix is passionate about using his voice to speak out against injustice and recalls protesting with his parents at a young age before he knew what “justice” meant.
