Erica Chen

Erica was born in NYC and says, quoting Colson Whitehead, "I'm here because I was born here and thus ruined for anywhere else." She is passionate about both sustainability and stories, and wants to harness the power of language and voice to speak out on climate. She also loves art and music as forms of expression. Along with being a reader, writer, artist, and violinist, she is a runner in her school’s cross country team. Erica is motivated to speak out on climate change because it’s about giving everyone on earth, present and future, the chance to live.
